How very fast a year can be. Time marches on and sometimes we start to lose the emotions the season evokes. Our senses take us back in time. We can smell the spices in the air, the happiness one feels when decorating for the holidays. We all have traditions we recall with perfect clarity – a certain type of light on the tree, to play Christmas carols or not, classic ornaments, tinsel, and certain foods baked and shared with those we love.
Every holiday becomes a rite of passage and will inevitably become a journey into our history. This year we celebrate Christmas past and decorate with all the aplomb and merriment of yesteryear. Celebrate the holiday that’s yours! Enjoy every minute with those who are important to you. And I wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and the best of things in the coming year.
